Contact Us Online 'Patient Triage'

You can contact us about a medical or administrative issue by clicking on the image below.

This short online form is the quickest and simplest way for the majority of our patients to access or clinical team for assistance. Our practice phone lines remain open for anyone with accessibility needs who might find difficulty completing this form.

Please do not use this online form for urgent or emergency requests. The submitted forms will only be read during office hours. The forms will not be read on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or on bank holidays. They will not be read Monday-Friday between the hours of 17:00 - 08:00. Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency.

To make an appointment call at the surgery or telephone either site as follows:

  • Kirton Lindsey Surgery: 01652 648214
  • Scotter Surgery:  01724 700218

Due to triaging requests, Online Appointments via SystmOnline or the NHS App are temporarily not available. For non-urgent requests, you can use our AccuRx Patient Triage by clicking on the above link 'Submit a new request'.

Routine doctor appointments can usually be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Wait times for these appointments can vary dependent upon demand or for a particular doctor.

Additional doctor appointments are released daily from 08:00. These appointments are for patients that feel that they need to be seen sooner than the next available pre-bookable appointment and are not reserved exclusively for urgent conditions.

Urgent cases are assessed and seen as soon as possible on the day according to clinical need and may require a telephone call from the doctor.

If we are unable to provide a suitable appointment, appropriate advice or signposting to alternative services will be provided by one of our doctors.

Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. They often have greater availability for appointments and can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.

Telephone Consultation

You can book to have a telephone consultation with a doctor. He or she will ring you at an agreed time on the telephone number you have given.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

PLease let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment by calling reception. You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.

If you need help when we are closed

Click here for information about out-of-hours services.

You can help us by:

  • Being on time for your appointment
  • Letting us know if you need to cancel
  • Letting us know if more than one person needs to be seen
  • Calling for a home visit or urgent appointment before 10:00
  • Ringing for a repeat prescription after 10:00
  • Ringing for results of tests after 13:30

Home Visits

Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single visit and can also access a wider range of equipment that cannot be taken out on home visits.  For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible.

However, if a home visit is required it would be appreciated if, wherever possible, requests are telephoned to the surgery before 10:00am.  This service is ONLY for patients who are too ill or infirm to attend the surgery. Transport to the surgery is NOT the responsibility of the doctors.  The doctors may telephone to clarify if a visit is clinically necessary.

GP Training Practice

We are an approved Yorkshire and Humberside Deanary site for GP training and are involved in the training of GP Specialist Registrars and Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors.

We are also a teaching partner with The Hull York Medical School, providing training for future doctors.

Occasionally you may be asked for permission to allow a trainee GP or student to participate in your consultation and/or for your consultation to be video recorded.

Please click here for more detailed  information about the registrars, FY2 doctors and students.
